He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Orville and Marjorie Leta Wood (Duncan). He is survived by: his wife Mardee of Washington, IA; his children, Ellen Janet Hartson (Michael) of Washington, IA and Robert James Wood (Sandra Adelmund) of Coon Rapids, MN; his grandchildren, Amanda, Alexander and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Nehemiah and Malakai; and his brothers, Joel Wood (Pam) and Jere Wood (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mark's United Methodist Church (2675 E Washington St, Iowa City, IA 52245). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A general memorial fund has been established.
