Jo Ann Stout Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ann Stout of Washington, Iowa, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Farrel and Martha Irene Smith (Hendrickson); her son Eri; her sister Patricia Anne; and her sister-in-law Virginia.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Mark, Anne (Marlin), Carol (Robert), Karen (Jim), Kathy and Sara; her daughter-in-law Karla; and also, Gary and Allan (Barb). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and their spouses, 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Washington Mennonite Church (815 E Polk St, Washington, IA 52353). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
She made many quilts for family and charity.
