It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JoAnn Marie Gent (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Friese and Mary Friese; her in-laws, Francis and Irma Gent; and her brothers, Robert Friese, Francis Friese, Walter Friese and Willard Friese.

She is survived by : her husband Terry Gent; her children, Kevin Gent (Linda), John Gent (Cathy), Char Brenneman (Rob), Steve Gent (Susan) and Glenda McWilliams; her sisters, Mary Catherine Escher, Donna Mae Moeller, Marilyn Nebel (Bob) and Connie Waters; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Gent, Donna Tinnes (Ron), Winnie Gent, Teresa Friese and Winnie Friese. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

A general memorial has been established.
