He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenore Fay Marsengill (Early) and Caz Marsengill; his parents-in-law, James and Frances Wendt; and his siblings-in-law, K. King, Dick Houk, William Jacobs, James Wendt (Joyce), Pansy Aldrich (Ray) and Lois Field (Marlin).
He is survived by: his wife Eldora Marsengill of Washington, Iowa; his sons, Kent Marsengill (Denise) of Riverside, Iowa and Kelly Marsengill (Rebecca) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jordan Marsengill (Chelsea), Addison Marsengill, Cam Marsengill and Madalyn Letsie (Reabetsoe); his great grandchildren, Tori and Beau Marsengill; his siblings, Garry Marsengill (Margaret) of Eldridge, Iowa, Jean Summers (Bob) of Harris, Rebecca King of Princeton and Kay Houk of Leon, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Marian Jacobs of Dayton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home (116 E Main St, Washington, IA 52353). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (1220 W Madison St, Washington, IA 52353).
