He is survived by: his mother Judith K. Harrington Rink of Stronghurst, IL; his wife Lea Ann Rink of Washington, IA; his children, Chris Wenger (Darynne) of Cedar Rapids, IA and Sara Bruns (Dylan) of Ankeny, IA; his niece Lily Jones; and his mother-in-law Joann Knisley of Donnellson, IA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory (3507 Avenue L, Fort Madison, IA 52627). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Fort Madison Police Department, Fort Madison Fire Department or his grandson Matteo's education.
