She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Haupert and Theresa Haupert (Highberger); her husband Eugene P. Reed; her daughter Mary Ellen Johnson; and her siblings, Mark and Irene.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Reed (Rhonda) of Washington, Joe Reed of Carter Lake, IA and Ann Reed of Fairfield, IA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (602 W 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353).
Memorials in the name of Marcella Margaret Reed may be designated to St. James Catholic Church and Parkinson Association.
