With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oren W. Jarvis of Washington, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oren W. Jarvis to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Jarvis and Verna Jarvis (Fry); his wife Mary Schillerstrom; his brother Yale Jarvis; his mother-in-law Edith Schillerstrom; his siblings-in-law, Jim Hanshaw, Duane Krotz, Bob Schillerstrom, Roy Schillerstrom and Elizabeth West; and his nephew Dan Krotz.

He is survived by : his children, Rev. Monica Jarvis of Leesburg, Florida and Barry Jarvis (Jill Kelley) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his sisters, Beverly Krotz of Washington, Iowa and Marianne Hanshaw of Washington, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Connie Jarvis of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials donations can be given to Grace Community Church or Gideons International.
