He is survived by: his daughter Peggy Smith of Ft. Worth, Texas; and his siblings, Marcia Dautremont (Jim Farr) of Iowa City, Iowa, Jon "Ezzy" Smith (Wendy) of Washington, Iowa and Lisa Carr (Mike) of Muncie, Indiana. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
