She is survived by: her children, Paula Jo Farris-McConnell of Washington, Iowa and Gary Chris Farris of Rhinelander, Wisconsin; her stepchildren, Jenny Curtis of Kalona, Iowa, Ben Curtis of Kalona, Iowa and Emily Curtis of Wellman, Iowa; her grandchildren, Zach Farris, William McConnell, Blair Farris and Cameron Farris; her great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Stevie, Josephine and Greyson Farris; her siblings, Harry Simonsen of Marion, Iowa, Weaver Simonsen of Valley Center, California and Narda Murphy of Williamston, Michigan; her mother-in-law Shirley Curtis of Apache Junction, Arizona; and her sister-in-law Nancy Cheek of Des Moines, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 1015 W Madison St, Washington, IA 52353.
