She is survived by: her husband Wayne Kaufman of Washington, Iowa; her children, Colonel Aaron Kaufman (Carolin) of Stuttgart, Germany and Amy (Vern Miller) of Washington, Iowa; her grandchildren, William, Rosie Kaufman, Grace, Aidan (Mari Harper), Wade and Alec Miller; her sister-in-law Avis Wells-Smith of Coralville, Iowa; her brother Louie; her sister-in-law Liza Kaufman of Urbandale, Iowa; and her close friend Ruby. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces & great-great nephews.
