He is survived by: his father Ronald Leroy Carey Sr. (Brenda) of West Chester, Iowa; his sons, Traeton Carey of Kalona and Ty Carey of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his brothers, Damon Sojka (Pam) of Washington, Iowa, Devon Carey (Kaye) of Kalona, Iowa and Jacob Carey of Kalona, Iowa; and his godmother Patrise Taylor-Harris of Washington, Iowa. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
