He is survived by: his wife Linda of Washington, Iowa; his sons, David Newlon of Anchorage, Alaska and Matthew Newlon (Hayley) of Iowa City, Iowa; his stepsisters, Virginia Wood of Texas and Janice Sanders of Davenport, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Russell (Gary) of Washington and Patricia Coleman (Henry) of Anchorage, Alaska..
