With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Lucas of Washington, Iowa, born in Lenox, Iowa, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Edward and Alma Marie Becherer (Reed); her husband Charles Joseph Lucas; and her siblings, Gene Becherer and Wilma Cohrt.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Lucas (Pat) of Algona, Iowa, Gregory Lucas (Nina-Jo) of St. Louis, Missouri and Susie Lucas of Washington, Iowa; her grandsons, Jeff Lucas (Amanda), Jay Lucas, Joe Lucas (Felicia), Cameron Reed (Jessica) and Jameson Reed; and her sister-in-law Roberta Dostal of Clinton, Iowa.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
