He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Rothman and Ruth Rothman (Grossman). He is survived by : his wife Carolyn Rothman of Washington, Iowa.; his sons, Mark Rothman of Frankfort, KY and Robert Rothman of Savannah, GA; and his brother Richard Rothman of Chicago, IL.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up for the Pre-School at the United Methodist Church.
