William Allen Stewart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 78, William Allen Stewart of Washington, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Allen Stewart to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Stewart and Ruth Stewart (Finney); his son-in-law Tim Henningsen; his brother-in-law Roger Stout; his nephew Barry Stout; and his close friend Judy Wessling.
He is survived by: his children, John Stewart of Iowa City, Iowa and Susie Henningsen of Littleton, Colorado; his grandsons, Brock Stewart and Josh Henningsen; his sisters, Pat Stout of Washington, Iowa and Linda Grove (Jud) of Mt. Airy; and his former wife Janet Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Washington County, Washington Public Library or CommUnity Crisis Services of Iowa City.
