It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela Lavin of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Angela is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Angela's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lavin and Patricia Lavin (Eastman); and her siblings, Arlen Lavin and Rebecca Barnes. She is survived by: her children, DeShaun Thomas (Dijana Sabic) of Waterloo and Alexa Lavin of Coralville; and her sisters, Rosemary Jefferson of Waterloo, Mary Ann Lavin of Waterloo and Jeanne Bradley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
