He is survived by: his mother Michele Smith (Pierce); his wife Sarah Butler; his daughter Ella Michele of Iowa City; and his siblings, Jen Campbell (Dave), Heidi Drenner (Darrel), William Smith (Stephanie), Molly Rooff (Brian), Aimee Denniston (Matt Abben) and Michael Smith (Emily). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for designation at a later date.
