He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Wynstra and Henrietta Wynstra (Hogeboom); and his former wife Betty Rupert. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Wynstra of Waterloo; his sons, Rob Wynstra (Julie) of Racine, WI, Jim Wynstra (Cheran) of Sioux Falls, SD, John Wynstra (Jennifer) of Cedar Falls and Doug Wynstra (Janeen) of South Milwaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Betty, Melissa, David, Joshua (Abby), Caleb, Jared, Joseph, Daniel, Nicole and Marie; and his great grandchildren, Angelina, Michaela, Andrew, Vinny, Alessia and Arielle.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Locke (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
