With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Caryl Lee Bienfang of Waterloo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Caryl Lee Bienfang to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl D. Seifert Sr. and Lillian A. Fitzgerald (Bobbitt); her husband John Seery; her son Jeffery A. Knight; her brother Richard "Dick" Seifert; her sister-in-law Mary Seifert; her children-in-law, Mark C. Cutsforth and Kathy Knight; and her pet Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Scott, Brian, Martin, Kirby Knight (Val) and Shari Cutsforth; and her brother Carl D. Seifert Jr. (Joanie) of Illinois. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service South Street (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Caryl's name to her family, who will later direct them elsewhere in her name.
