“Sadly, I just found out that Clem had died. We wrote five editions of Women and the Criminal Justice System together, and got to be friends during that time. Originally, I knew his name from my studies as a student of juvenile deliquency in the 1960s. When I found his name listed on a notice at UNI, I was determined to co-author a book with him. When I heard him teaching in the hallway, and the student laughter. I am so sorry he is gone. Katherine van Wormer”
