He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth North and Genevieve Elizabeth North (Holly); and his stepson Darrell Pelton. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Ray Lange of Waterloo; his children, Robyn Sorge (Roger) of Janesville, Jeffrey North of Waterloo, Penny Hershey of Cedar Falls and Virginia Johnson of Cedar Falls; his stepchildren, Todd Pelton of North Carolina and Marci Pelton of Waterloo; and his siblings, Russell North of Grundy Center and Mary Meyer of Dubuque. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
