She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Diekmann and Myrna Diekmann (Kiewiet). She is survived by: her husband Loren Duchman; her children, Kyle Duchman (Julia) of Rochester, Bryce Duchman (Emily) of San Diego and Allison Duchman (Alex) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her grandchildren, Jocelyn Duchman, Sofia Duchman, Liam Duchman and Amelia Moseley; and her sisters, Kathy Petersen of Norwalk and Vicki Aikman (Harvey) of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Connie's name to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Waterloo, Iowa or to the First United Methodist Church in Algona, Iowa.
