He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wilson and Vera Wilson (Krum); his sister Terri Buege; his son-in-law John Veenendall; his stepson Darrell Dean Guelner; his granddaughter Bobbie Kay; and his great grandchild Chance Horseman.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Wilson (Jackie) of Waterloo, Brian Wilson (Sherri) of Waterloo, Bill Guelner (Lori) of Waterloo, Raejean Veenendall of Ariz and Debbie Cole (Tony) of Colo; and his grandchildren, Whitney Fischer (Tony), Dusty Wilson (Kelsey), Alexa Guelner, Kennedy Guelner, Katelynn Zeschke (Brice), Cody Wilson (Morgan), Stephanie Cole and Shane Cole. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
