He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gorman Sr. and Bernadine Driscoll Gorman; his stepfather Claude Hixenbaugh; his nephew Ben Sufficool; his father-in-law Jim Chapman; and his brother-in-law Bob Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Dori Chapman of Waterloo; his children, Brendan Gorman (Anna) of San Angelo, TX, Elona Gorman of Waterloo and Jace Gorman of Waterloo; his sister Julie Lawrence (Lynn) of Hiawatha; his sister-in-law Cindy Duggan of Waterloo; his mother-in-law Donna Chapman of Waterloo; and his pet Shiloh. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Locke (1519 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions should be directed to the family.
