He was predeceased by: his parents, Willaim Newman and Charlotte Newman. He is survived by: his wife Joleen Newman of Waterloo; his sons, Darran Newman (Kristi) of Papillion and D. J. Newman (Kim) of Stewartville, Minnesota; his stepdaughter Angie Berst (Dan) of New Hampton; his grandchildren, Marissa, Kara, Zach, Jayden, Treyton (Bri), Colton (Kaylee), Ariana, Avery, Kenzie and K. J.; and his siblings, Roz Palas (Dave) of Postville, Cindy Wagner (Jerry) of Brooklyn and Rusty Newman of Postville.
