David A. Hoth Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David A. Hoth of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Vane, Eva Burbridge, Ray Hamilton and Angela Hoth; his parents-in-law, James and Joyce Sweeney; his sister-in-law Glenda Sweeney Connor; and his pet Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sweeney Hoth; his parents, Karol Rae Hoth and Don L. Hoth (Julie); his brother John; his siblings-in-law, Janet Sweeney Swanson, Bruce Sweeney (Wendy) and Scott Sweeney (Hamdi); and his pet Lucy.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (627 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50702).
