David Sink Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate David Sink (Waterloo, Iowa), whose life came to an end on October 5, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Sink and Marcella Sink (Miller); and his siblings, Tom (Karen), Jim (Vicki), Dan (Linda), Joe, Carol Goodrich (Bob), Kathy Moore (Ray) and Betsy McDougall (Dan).
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Hermann (Nate); his grandchildren, Stormie Priebe of Waterloo, Davin of Waterloo and Halo Hermann of Waterloo; his sisters, Susie Douglas (Dave) of Cedar Falls, Barb Burns (Jim) of Waterloo and Jody Sessions (Jim) of Cedar Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Sink, Vicki Sink of Cedar Falls and Ray Moore (Prairie Du Chien) of Waterloo. He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1423 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
Memorials can be made to the Battle for Betsy Foundation in memory of his siblings who suffered from Alzheimer's Disease.
