He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schwieso and Madonna Schwieso (McMahon); his siblings, Michael "Mick" Schwieso and Pamela Jurgensen; and his niece Justeen Schwieso.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Strachan; his children, Lora Schwieso of Madison, WI and Darin Schwieso of Des Moines; his siblings, Chris Macumber (Glen) of Manilla and Jeff Schwieso (Karen) of Alexandria; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Jurgensen and Carleen Schwieso. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
