He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Miller and Mary Miller (Hansen); his brother John Miller; and his sisters-in-law, Kris and Nancy Miller.
He is survived by: his children, April Melton (Earl) of Waterloo and Austin Miller of Troutdale, OR; his grandchildren, Adam, Chip, Katie, Margaret, Donald, Devin and Brynn; his great grandchildren, Desiree, Myah, Carson, Alex, Thomas, Spencer, Henry, Anna, Alice, Theodore, Kamden, Findley and Charlotte; and his siblings, Paul Miller (Nancy), Dennis Miller, Russell Miller and Linda Nielsen (Ken).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Chapel (7035 W Bennington Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Washington Chapel Cemetery (7035 W Bennington Rd, Cedar Falls, IA 50613).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Don's family.
