He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Gleason and Marie Gleason; and his wife Barbara Lee Gleason. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Gleason of Bethesda, Donna Kassar (Mohyeddin) of Hillside, Andrew Gleason (Michelle) of Whitestown and Brian Gleason (Sarah) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hannah Sanghvi, Jumana, Hafsa (Stephanie Sokolyk), Laila (Bryan Wang), Suha, Houmam Kassar, Alexander Hutt, Mason (Jules), Erin, Brent Gleason, Seth and Sullivan Gleason; his great grandchildren, Weston and Emerson Gleason; and his siblings, Richard Gleason (Joanne) of Gilbertville, Jim Gleason of Gilbertville, Gerald Gleason (Betty) of Waterloo and Mary Crowe of Waterloo.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (3912 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50701).
