She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel Maria and Maria Ines Feruglio (Fenochio); and her husband Dale. She is survived by: her children, Regina M. River of Waterloo, Marc E. River (Romina) of Houston and Ian F. River of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Camila E. River, Lucas D. River and Andrew D. River; and her siblings, Edmundo (Adriana Wenger) of Buenos Aires, Argentina and Celina (Mario Turkenkopf) of Rosario, Argentina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
