He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Tangen and Marlys Pries Tangen; his grandparents, Julius, Juliana Tangen, Henry and Elsie Pries; and his cousins, Mark Bensen and Terry Buck.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley Tangen of Waterloo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
