He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Elin and Ida Elin (Paul); his wife Mary Yeager; and his siblings, Floyd, Delbert, Gayle, Lauren Elin, Louella Hummel and Ila Finnerman.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Elin (Maggie) of Waverly, Dave Elin (Carol) of Crestone, Colorado and Sue Hamer (Carl) of Waterloo; and his grandchildren, Justin McDaniel (Krista), Ryan McDaniel (Melissa) and Dustin Elin (Colleen). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
