Harland Robinson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harland Robinson of Waterloo, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harland Robinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Robinson and Phyllis Robinson (Jindrich); and his wife Karla Hansen. He is survived by: his sons, David Hansen (Lisa) of Cedar Falls and Dale Hansen (Tamela) of Lillian Al; and his siblings, Cathryn Robinson, Cythnia Balsanek (Don), Carol Robinson, Camille Roe (Jeff), Paul Robinson (Roberta), Thomas Robinson (Marilyn) and Philip Robinson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (650 Stephan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A burial will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Waterloo Memorial Park (3430 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50701). As the Covid-19 lockdown kept people from attending Mass, international connections were made through Harland's advanced work through livestream.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family CWO3 Harland "Chuck" Robinson, 71, of Waterloo, died Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
