She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hakala and Fannie Hakala (Hannala); her spouse Emery Wayne Finney; her son Hal Finney; her granddaughter Holly Paradine; and her siblings, Evelyn Sundstrom and Bill Hakala.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Finney of Cedar Rapids, Lonny Finney of Waterloo, Lindy Crinigan (Bill) of Evansdale and Blair Finney (Cindy) of Waterloo; and her brothers, Roy and Bob Hakala. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
