She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wilson and Rebecca Barrett Wilson; her husband Sgt. Albert Lee Peggs; and her sisters, Erlene Chamberlain, Nora Robinson and Ethel Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Lize Wilson, Althea Peggs and Milton Peggs; her siblings, Betty Gilmore, Walter Wilson, Clyde Manning and Kattie Malone; and her sibling-in-law Marshon Glover. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
