It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Iner Gilson of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Sarah Paulinda Gilson (Thomas); his wife Barbara Wilson; and his siblings, Laverne Gilson, Sharon Hammond and Ilyene Primmer.
He is survived by: his children, Robert (Venessa) of Evansdale, Richard (Shelly) of Waterloo, Connie Gilson, David (Toni), Ronald (Teresa) of Waterloo, Kim Graham (Joel) of Raymond and Tracy Gilson (Gene) of Waterloo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
