He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Kemp and Melda Kemp (Davis); his brother Robert; his cousins, Janeen Schreyer and Michele Glush; and his pet Boomer.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Daggett of Waterloo; his children, Tammi Mitchell (Paul) of Waterloo, Jeff Kemp (Chris) of Waterloo, Greg Kemp of Cedar Falls and Megan Kemp of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Kenny Kemp, Jon Kemp, Katie Anderson, Hannah Kemp, Maddie Kemp, Ella Kemp, Todd Keller, Jaden Keller, Emma Mitchell and Will Mitchell; and his great grandchild Maeve.
