He is survived by: his wife Beverly Schmitz; his children, Chris Bell of Waterloo, Tim Pyle of Cedar Rapids and Mark Pyle of Cedar Falls; his grandchildren, Luke Pint (Stella) of Waterloo, Candace Wood of Cedar Rapids, Nicole Wood of Cedar Rapids, Jonah McNamara of Cedar Rapids, Jesse Wood of Washington, Sarah Hulse (Matt) of Jasper, Jerry Pint of Waterloo, Cody Cook of Waterloo and Casey Van Meter (Erica); and his siblings, Virginia Smith (Odie) of Waterloo and Donald Pyle (Randi) of Norway. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
