She was predeceased by: her parents, Rueben Bauman and Hattie Gadow Bauman; her grandmother Jean; her husband Jim; and her siblings, Art, Donald, Harvey, Roger Bauman, Harriet Angen Smith, Lucille Cordova, Ruth Wagner, Betty Bauman and Shirley Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Barrett (Nancy) of Waterloo, Rick Barrett (Cindy) of Waterloo, Jody Juhl (Robert) of Waterloo, Nancy Smith (George) of Waterloo and Tom Barrett of Washburn. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren. 16 great-grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
