She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Rains and Virgina Rains (Billings); her brother Craig Rains of San Diego; and her brother-in-law Jeff Gales of Van Horne. She is survived by: her spouse Marine; her children, Paul Latting (Steph) of Oklahoma City, Robert Latting of San Diego, Katie Herrick of Cedar Falls and Lucy Gurnsey (Gary) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and her siblings, John E. Rains of San Diego and Janet Gales of Van Horne, Iowa.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
