We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 77, Joan Marie Crawford (Waterloo, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Marvitz and Winona Marvitz; her siblings, Carol Marvitz and Johnny Marvitz; her former life partner Rev. David Courtney; and her great grandchild Jaxson Thompson.

She is survived by : her children, Jill Thompson (Wade), Deb Ewodlt (Greg) and Terry Crawford (Jamie); her brother David Marvitz (Jean); and her grandchildren, Matt Thompson (Ashley), Amanda Wendling, Rachel Eick (Chris), Camie Crawford-Miller (Ty) and Crystal (Levi).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
