It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Eugene Rottinghaus of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Firmin Rottinghaus and Alma Rottinghaus (Gales); his wife Dessie Rottinghaus; and his siblings, Sandra Franken, James Rottinghaus, Michael Rottinghaus and Cheryl Kolar.
He is survived by: his brothers, Steven Rottinghaus of Michigan and Gerald Rottinghaus of Waterloo. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren: nine great-grandchildren.
