John Hoskins Obituary

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lael Hoskins and Patricia Schiel Hoskins; and his brother Dale Hoskins. He is survived by: his sisters, Janann Bauler (Rick) of Hudson, IA, Donna Mayer (Chris) of Melbourne, IA and Jaclyn Lampson of Waverly, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and two great nieces.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
