It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Reans of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E. Reans and Kathryn L. Reans (Shanks); and his sister Janice L. Stover. He is survived by: his wife Susan Cusmano Reans of Waterloo; his children, Chris Cusmano of Waterloo, Tony Cusmano (Rhondell) of East Peoria, IL and Gina Purvis (Steve) of League City, TX; his brother Jim Reans (Vicki) of Waterloo; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
