He is survived by: his parents, Terry Koeneke and Karen Koeneke; his children, Kane Koeneke (Brady McDowell) of Waterloo, Madeline Koeneke of Waterloo and Asher Koeneke of Waterloo; his sisters, Rachel White of Texas and Rosie Koeneke of Waterloo; his nephews, Harrison and Graham White; and his aunts and uncles, Janet (Randy Herink), Sharon (Harlan Koenen), Larry Koeneke (Carol Volp) and David Peters of Northfield, Minnesota..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Cedar Valley Church (3520 Ansborough Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
