She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Schmidt and Wilma Schmidt (Taylor); her husband Jackie Crane; her daughter LaDonna Rowell; her son-in-law Jackie; her brother George; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Schmidt and Donald Mintey.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Vosika of Shakopee, MN, Brenda Cook (Craig) of Evansdale, IA and Troy Lehr (Brenda) of Cedar Falls, IA; her son-in-law Todd Rowell of Hudson, IA; her stepchildren, Monte Crane (Lorraine) of Granite City, IL, Michael Crane (Cindy) of Waterloo, IA, Jeanne Sandford (Layne) of Waterloo, IA, Julie Laird (Dave) of Waterloo, IA and Janet Wyett (Patrick) of Raymond, IA; and her siblings, Larry Schmidt (Jennifer) of Jesup, IA, Bob Schmidt (Dixie) of Dunkerton, IA, Karol Mintey of Waterloo, IA and Judy Schellhorn (Vernon) of Jesup, IA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; and many great and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories (965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parrott and Wood Funeral Home (965 Home Plaza, Waterloo, IA 50701). A burial was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Memoires Cemetery (3669 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703).
