She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo C. Neuhalfen and Vera Mae Dutcher Neuhalfen; her husband Jon A. Fischer; her children, Kris Johnston of Waukon and Betsy Johnston of Plainfield, CT; her grandchildren, Tiffany Snyder (Ryan) of Hudson, Luke Johnston of Hudson and Crystal Maclure of Dayville, CT; her great grandchildren, Reegan Snyder and Alexandria Johnston; and her sisters, Sandy Daly (Dennis) of Ankeny, Marcia Dreesman (Dennis) of Cedar Falls and Diane Sebbert of Lincoln. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
