He was predeceased by: his parents, James Anderson and DeLora Anderson (Brandenburger); his wife Paula Harris; his brother-in-law Dale Simpson; and his friends, Ed Cavanaugh, Daniel Cavanaugh and Kirk Powell.
He is survived by: his sons, Josh (Emily) of Madison, Wisc, Neal of Des Moines and Nicholas of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Macy, Maverick and Maddyn; his siblings, Donald Anderson of Waterloo, Robert Anderson (Merley) of Yigo, Guam, Jackie Kane of Lake Mills, Gale Simpson (Doug Hugo) of Lake Mills, Joanne Anderson of Waterloo and Carol Anderson of Waterloo; his close friends, Gus Conner, Richard Berry, Steve McBride and Monte Bates; and his daughter-in-law Emily. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the IRV Warren Memorial (1000 Fletcher Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
