Lola A. Jacobi Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lola A. Jacobi of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Newhall, Iowa, who passed away on May 21, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leo Boddicker and Carolyn Boddicker (Davis); her siblings, Vincent Boddicker, LaVonne Boddicker, Marilyn Freytag and Charlotte Boddicker; her nephews, Adam Boddicker and Aaron Jahn; and her niece Angela Scheib.

She is survived by : her husband Richard "Dick" Jacobi of Waterloo; her children, Jami McGinley (Marty) of Overland Park, KS, Carrie Parsons (Rick) of Olathe, KS, Jeff Jacobi (Ann Knight) of Waterloo and Nicholle Jacobi of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Brady McGinley (Lesly) of Dallas, TX, Logan, Graham McGinley of Overland Park, KS, Oliver, Elizabeth Parsons of Olathe, KS, Riley Jacobi (Alejandra), Morgan, Jacob and Maggie Jacobi of Waterloo; her sisters, Janice Duncalf (Harold), Rita Johnson (Ronald), Diantha Zadra (Nolan) and Rosalie Jahn (Robert); and her sister-in-law Patricia Russell (James). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM, from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Teahen Funeral Home (1212 1st Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A prayer was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (306 3rd Ave, Newhall, IA 52315).
